Job description

Stock • Continually maximise space utilization. • Implement and practice FIFO at all times. • Plan, coordinate, manage and coordinate the movement of all outgoing orders. • Plan and conduct the stock counts as per the company’s management guidelines. Transportation • Loading of trucks safely and effectively. • Work closely with transport companies to coordinate the movement of orders not within delivery regions. • Ensure that the cargo/orders are always protected (boxes, sealed, wrapped) for transportation. • Inspect orders to ensure the correct quantities and products match what was invoiced to the recipients. • Implementation of transport policies, systems and standards that will improve customer service. • Ensure that customer orders are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently and in line with the FSMS (Food Safety Management System) requirements • .Ensure that all vehicles are maintained following company standards and aligned with the road traffic act. Management • Willingness to lead by example and, when/where necessary, get involved at floor level to ensure delivery at the correct standard and/or method. • Drive and motivate the team to achieve targets. • Ensure company policies and procedures are communicated to the team, managing and resolving people-related problems, including but not limited to resolving employees’ conflict of interests and absenteeism. • Manage and maintain a highly motivated work environment.
