Business Analyst

Job description

Partner with stakeholders and business users across functions (ex: finance, hr, trade, compliance) to understand analytics requirements Author and update functional specification document in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with service delivery, global process owners, analytics developers and business intelligence teams, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation Co-own the ‘Product Roadmap Management’ and ‘Release Management’. It will include, but not limited to the following: o Managing or helping prioritize feature request from business users by evaluating business value of requested features o Implementing the product backlog in consultation with product owner/manager, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality o Interacting with variety of colleagues (both on Business & Technical side) to make our Products more sustainable, usable, in addition to developing more features/functionalities which delights the users o Interacting with data engineering / business intelligence / RPA / capability squads to get our data requests prioritized (dependency management) o Make Go/No-Go decisions for planned release items Be actively involved in technical matters thus finding out the gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decision and description of the functional flow Work with QA Analyst to define testing strategies & review test cases Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) / business testing of new functionalities which gets introduced into the Products on an ongoing basis Partner with stakeholders and business users across functions (ex: finance, hr, trade, compliance) to understand analytics requirements Author and update functional specification document in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with service delivery, global process owners, analytics developers and business intelligence teams, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation Co-own the ‘Product Roadmap Management’ and ‘Release Management’. Describe Candidate Profile

Strong Business Analyst experience and capability 2-5 years of business analysis and/or Data Analytics Product Management experience in a matrixed management environment (e.g., product development, project management, implementation) Strong process mindset, ability to capture, organize and articulate knowledge irrespective of functional area Ability to refine and structure ambiguous requirements in a way that is well understood by development team Demonstrated skill in product development, working with analytics teams with platform and cross-team dependencies Agile based requirements management, testing, release management - process & tools Experience in Product development in a global environment Agile Project management experience, or multi-functional team experience Ability to drive discussion and establish clarity on requirements and deliverables Quick to identify and communicate risks and develop mitigation plans Knowledge and hands-on experience of delivering scrum projects using Jira Strong communications and presentation skills Must have demonstrated strong communication skills with global teams across written, verbal and presentation formats to a variety of audiences from engineer to Senior management Ability to make complex and detailed information clear and actionable
